Photographer in Cusco

Javier Falcón photographs in Cusco and at Machu Picchu, and brings editorial and advertising productions across the region — from the Sacred Valley to the high plain. He is based in Lima, one flight away.

For Belmond he has photographed Machu Picchu and the Andean Explorer, the luxury sleeper train that leaves Cusco and crosses the Andes — work connected to Peru: An Odyssey Across a Time-Honored Land, the Assouline book produced with Belmond for its twenty-five years in the country, to which he contributed as a photographer.

He knows the region's light, altitude and logistics, and produces shoots in Cusco with local teams — for brands, publications and travel commissions that need the Andes photographed with an editorial eye.
